In the four corners of the world, the French language is loved and learnt. The network of the Alliances françaises receives more than 460 000 students in 136 countries and records an annual increase in attendance of nearly 5%.
Foreigners are the best ambassadors of French. Their motivation to practise it is as much emotional as pragmatic. The Fondation encourages this commitment and strives to make it known in France.

Public interest status :
The Alliance Française Foundation performs a public interest role in the social, educational and cultural fields.

An unrivalled network :
The Alliance Française is the world’s largest cultural network. It is also the only network to operate under local law covering 136 countries on five continents.

Need for support :
Alliance Française branches need support to assist more students.
